Shortly after announcing the Conjr handset, Coolpad seems to be readying itself to introduce another smartphone with Triple SIM functionality, the Coolpad Mega 3, for the Indian market. The Coolpad Mega 3 price in USA is $240 and is now available to buy via an online Amazon.com website. No announcement has been made by Coolpad USA yet.
Coolpad Mega 3 Specifications
Main highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 is feature triple-SIM slots and all with 4G LTE functionality. It features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1080-pixel) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 269ppi. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own CoolUI interface on top of it. The phone packs a 3050mAh battery that is claimed to provide standby time up to 150 hours.
The Coolpad Mega 3 is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT6737 chipset clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. The Mega 3 smartphone also 16GB of inbuilt storage with support for up to 64GB microSD cards.
On the camera front, this new Coolpad Mega Mobile has an 8-megapixel rear and front cameras. Both have apertures of f/2.2. Video recording tops out at 720p for both cameras, and capture wide group selfies. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 154.4 x 76.8 x 8.35 mm and weighs 170 grams.
Couple of weeks ago CoolPad launched the Conjr smartphone for the US market at a price tag of $179.99. Specifications of the handset include a 5.0-inch HD IPS display; 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT673.5 processor; 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM; 16GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card); 13-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front-facing camera, fingerprint sensor and 2500mAh Li-ion battery.
