Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One this fall, and the development team has not only released a new trailer but also unveiled some details as well as announced the debut of Trine: Ultimate Collection that will contain the entire saga.
The Trine series returns to the magic of 2.5D with Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince! The three heroes of the best-selling adventure series have returned to try to recover the tormented prince Selius. The wizard Amadeus, the knight Pontius and the thief Zoya find themselves once again in a thrilling mission through enchanting fairy-tale landscapes that swarm with danger.
In the new episode, the combat system was completely renewed, and the implementation of the local and online multiplayer sector was confirmed.
Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will be available in the fall, and the Trine: Ultimate Collection will also be published (Trine: Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince). However, the special edition will not be available in the Nintendo Switch, a pity considering that Trine 2: had made its debut on Wii U with the Director’s Cut.
