Three New Kodak Portable Projectors Launched: Price and Availability

Kodak announced the three new portable projectors including Pocket Portable Projector, Pocket Pico Projector, and Pocket Wireless Pico Projector. All three Kodak portable projectors are designed to be used in mobility, so you can make presentations or in any case to view images on any type of surface.

At the base of all three portable projectors is the DLP technology combined with an LED light source. None of the projectors boast an HD resolution: this is the rest of solutions designed to contain dimensions and costs and not for those looking for image quality.

The Kodak Pocket Portable Projector measures 80 x 80 x 20 mm and weighs 140 grams. The resolution is 640 x 360 pixels with a brightness of 75 lumens. Basically, you can reach 80″ if you take into account the shooting ratio, but given the limited luminous flux it is advisable to stop at a smaller size, then we talk about a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and a coverage equal to 100% NTSC color space.

It has a built-in 2500mAh battery provides up to 2 hours of battery life, including an HDMI input, a USB port and a micro SD slot (you can play multimedia files from flash drives and hard disks), a 1W speaker and the 3.5mm jack audio output. Kodak Pocket Pico Projector and Kodak Pocket Wireless Pico Projector are practically the same product. Both portable projectors measure 55 x 55 x 55 mm and weigh 165 grams. The resolution is 854 x 480 pixels with a brightness of 100 lumens. The contrast ratio is 1000:1. The integrated battery is also 2500mAh and the connectivity is also the same as the above model. Through USB and micro SD you can play the following files:

• Video: DAT / FLV / MKV / MOV / MP4 / MPG / RM / TRP / TS / WMB / RMVB

The main difference between these two portable projectors is the Wireless model which comes with an integrated Wi-Fi, so that allows you to connect directly to mobile devices.
