Sony on Tuesday held Tokyo Game Show 2017 in Japan, Square Enix published a new trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT fighting game was first announced last month for PlayStation 4.
The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT trailer reveals that Noctis will be a playable character in the game, is just one among several new details that we can check out in the new video. We can also see the game’s story which includes many characters from past Final Fantasy titles. Noctis will be equipped with familiar weapons and use a move set similar to what we have seen in Final Fantasy XV.
The Cloud character can be playable with the wearables he uses in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, as well as Lightning, who can wear the same outfit as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT trailer is just over two minutes long and is subtitled in English.
Some details about the game have also been revealed. For example, we learn why the characters have to fight to save Dissidia, some of the villains and the goddess of harmony calling for the heroes to battle the god of chaos.
New rules of battles and new challenges are also shown. It seems that Final Fantasy NT will be a full plate for fans of the franchise, even those who do not like fighting games so much.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, which already has an arcade version, but it will arrive on PlayStation 4 on January 30, 2018, in North America and Europe, priced at $59.88 and £49.99 respectively.
