At the CP + event, Tamron has launched two new lenses, Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD and Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro VC USD for Full Frame DSLR cameras. Both lenses are attached to the new SP line with modern design, with moisture resistant and high optical quality. With a large aperture, both lenses will help capture better low light stills with more beautiful bokeh.
Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD Lens:
This lens is characterized by Vibration Compensation image stabilization, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 3.5 stops, combined with a large F/1.8 aperture. With this lens, the portraits in low light conditions becomes easier thanks to maximum aperture and also affords extensive control over focus placement for greater separation of subjects from the background, as well as the ability to produce selective imagery.
Tamron has robust ring-type USD autofocus motor with an optimized USD actuator is used for noticeably fast and accurate focusing performance. The design of the new SP line very light, modern with matte black color and shiny metal ring at the bottom of the lens. Along with a fluorine coating has been applied to the front lens element to repel water, fingerprints, and smudges for easier cleaning of the lens surface.
Inside the lens LD and XLD glass elements clubbed with 13 elements and 9 groups optical design. New SP line also features an exclusive coating of BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) and eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy.
This Tamron 85mm lens is designed for full-frame Canon EF with APS-C models (136mm equivalent focal length); FX-format Nikon F with DX models (127.5mm equivalent focal length) and full-frame Sony A with APS-C models (127.5mm equivalent focal length).

Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro VC USD Lens:
This 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Lens on the other hand, its a macro lens replacement for famous Tamron AF SP 90mm F/2.8 and direct compete with rivals such as Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS or Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro iS USM.
Inside this lens, Tamron integrated a gyro sensor is used to accurately detect and enable motion compensation throughout the focusing range. Along with an accelerometer has also been added to the VC system to compensate for shift-type camera shakes along the X/Y plane.
Its closest focusing distance 13.9 mm and macro magnification ratio of 1:1. This lens is also incorporates One LD and two XLD glass elements in the 14 elements and 11 groups optical design.
