Sony would be working on a new Premium series smartphone that should take the name of Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. The very first details would come from the alleged UA Prof file, which refers to a device with the code name H8188, endowed with characteristics of the true flagship as per the tradition of the Xperia Premium series of the Japanese manufacturer.
According to initial information, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium would feature a 6.01-inch LCD display with 4K resolution (4360 x 2160 pixels), 18:9 aspect ratio and Android 9.0 operating system which makes it one of the first smartphones to be spotted with the newly released Android operating system.
The remaining hardware features should include the adoption of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB of RAM. Finally, there should also be several news related to the camera segment equipped with a dual rear camera with ISO 51200, applying an efficient system of digital noise reduction.
Coming to the design, the source confirms that the Sony will re-propose the new Ambient Flow design was introduced with the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact smartphones along with the rear fingerprint sensor and glass back panel.
