Sony Xperia XZ1 Pre-Orders Begin in USA through Amazon

After many leaks, the Sony Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphones were launched this month at IFA 2017. These smartphones are the latest additions to the company’s Xperia XZ lineup with features such as MotionEye camera with 3D-image sensing, Hi-Res Audio, and an HDR display. Now, the Sony Xperia XZ1 pre-orders are made available by the Amazon in USA.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 pre-orders in USA from Amazon.com where the Xperia XZ1 has been priced at $699.99 and it will be available in four Warm Silver (pre-order link) Black (pre-order link), Moonlit Blue (pre-order link) and Venus Pink (pre-order link) color options. The device will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo starting from today on September 19, 2017.

The high-end Sony Xperia XZ1 comes with a MotionEye 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera with 3D scanning abilities as its highlighted feature. The rear camera supports 5-axis stabilization and is capable of doing slow-motion video recording at 960fps, as the one we saw in Xperia XZ Premium, in addition to 4K video recording. It will be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants. On the front, Sony Xperia XZ1 features a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and 22mm wide-angle lens for group selfies. It is also powered by Sony’s Exmor RS mobile imaging sensor.

Sony Xperia XZ1 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) HDR TRILUMINOS Display with X-Reality and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, the 2700mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Fingerprint sensor, while the storage capacity is 64GB which is expandable via microSD slots. It has a metal body and comes with IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

When compared to its predecessors, it comes with a more powerful SoC, based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform, and a more refined design. New from the software point of view as the new Xperia XZ1 will be one of the first devices in the market with the pre-installed Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
