Sony continues with the distribution of the latest security patches for June, the latest update comes for two devices including Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra, were recently updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.
New 5 June Android security patch includes the build number 40.0.A.5.66 for the Xperia XA1 (review), and 42.0.A.3.30 for the phablet Xperia XA1 Ultra (review). There should be no further changes in terms of the functionality and the Android system also remained the same, 7.0 Nougat.
Recall that the update is always done in a gradual manner, and will be released by Sony via over-the-air (OTA) on devices over the next few days. Who has not received the notification yet, they can do it manually to ensure the availability of the update by going to the Settings.
