Sony has slashed the price of its X series smartphone the Sony Xperia X in USA by $100. The smartphone is now available at $249.99 its previous price of $349. The Sony Xperia X is available to buy with a new price tag through BHPhoto store in three color variants including White, Lime Gold and Graphite Black.
The Sony Xperia X flaunts a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF speed of 0.03 second, f/2.0 aperture and Pulse LED flash. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. There is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/3″ Exmor R sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 22mm wide-angle lens for wide group selfies and video calling. Front camera can also able to record Full HD 1080p videos.
The handset supports Sony DSEE HX audio technology along with LDAC codec for high-quality sound performance and is also comes with Digital Noise Cancelling feature. The display is 5.0-inches with Triluminos and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with X-Reality and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) 64-bit processor (Quad 1.6 GHz + Quad 2.2 GHz) paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and comes with 64GB of native storage which can also be expanded up to 200GB with the help of microSD card.
Last month, Amazon store also slashed the price of the Sony Xperia X Performance down to $130. The Lime Gold version is still available at $367 its launch price of $497.98.
While the Sony Xperia X Performance features a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Predictive Hybrid AF speed of 0.03 second, ISO 12800, 24mm Wide Sony G Lens and LED flash. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. For selfie, it has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/3″ Exmor R sensor, ISO 6400, f/2.0 aperture and 22 mm wide-angle lens for group selfies and video calling. Front camera also able to record Full HD 1080p videos.
