Sony Xperia Touch projector, which allows you to interact with the Android interface directly on a surface. And recently, the company released an Android 7.1.1 Nougat update along with a series of new interesting features, which will certainly please all of its owners.
The Sony Xperia Touch projector uses an ultra-short throw optic to create a 23-inch screen. Therefore, It can be used not only on a wall but on any flat surface, such as a table or desk. For user interaction, it uses a 13-megapixel camera (capable of operating at 60 frames per second) and infrared to recreate a multi-touch control system up to 10-points.
Upgrading to Android 7.1.1 Nougat also includes a whole host of new gesture controls that let you get up and touch each time to select something. By raising your hand, Xperia Touch will understand that you are using one of the available Gestures, and with the use of your fingers and well-defined movements, you can interact with the interface, navigate through the menus, control your video or music.
There are also new settings to better adjust the projection, for example, avoiding distortion of images in the presence of superficial surfaces, improved manual and automatic focus, optimized presence sensor to awaken from the Xperia Touch standby when approaching a person, now supporting ALAC audio format (in addition to FLAC), and finally, you have the option of choosing the left or right orientation for Android applications that are displayed in portrait mode.
Sony Xperia Touch has been priced at $1,699, and it is now temporarily out of stock at the Amazon store at writing time.
