According to what we can see in the renders, the Sony Xperia L2 smartphone should have large edges, in addition to a rear and a front camera. Also note that here we see a fingerprint sensor at the back, something quite unusual in Sony smartphones, which is usually positioned on the side edges next to the power button.

Rumors indicate that this new smartphone will hit the market with a large 5.5-inch display, possibly with 16:9 aspect ratio and HD resolution, which can degrade image quality. The device will have the following dimensions: 149.9 x 78.4 x 9.8 mm. We should also note that the smartphone should have Android 7.1.1 Nougat and Bluetooth 4.2 out of the box.

The new changes mainly concern the back panel of the device, slightly curved, a single rear camera with LED flash and the fingerprint sensor under it. To complete the hardware features of the Sony Xperia L2 there would be the Snapdragon 630 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM.

So far this is all that is known and there is no information on when Sony intends to bring the Xperia L2 to the market. However, it is speculated that this will happen during MWC 2018, which will start at the end of February. But as Sony has not yet confirmed this information, it is necessary to wait for an official statement from the company.
