Along with the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, Sony also expands its budget smartphone series at CES 2018 with the launch of the Sony Xperia L2. This is the successor of the Xperia L1 device that was introduced back in 2017. It has a 5.5-inch display, rear Fingerprint sensor, and 13MP rear camera sensor. The Sony Xperia L2 price yet to be declared, but it will be available from February 2018 in Black, Gold and Pink color options.

The Sony Xperia L2 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Image Enhance Technology, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT6737T SoC paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
For optics, the Xperia L2 bears a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor and LED Flash. For selfie, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/4″ Exmor RS sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens, and f/2.4 aperture.
The Sony Xperia L2 comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor, runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and packs a 3300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C. The device measures 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and weighs 178 grams.
