Sony Xperia L2 Starts Receiving March Android Security Update

Sony Xperia L2 has started receiving a new software update that includes the March Android security patch. Initially, the new update is reportedly rolling out gradually.

The latest Android update doesn’t bring any noticeable changes to the Sony Xperia L2, though it includes the new Android security patch to build number 49.0.A.4.55 and is still based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The update is available as an OTA (over-the-air) release.

The Sony Xperia L2 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Image Enhance Technology, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and HD 720p resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

It has a 13MP autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor, LED Flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with 1/4″ Exmor RS sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens, and f/2.4 aperture. It has a rear fingerprint sensor, a 3300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and also supports dual SIM slot with dual standby.

Sony Xperia L2 is an affordable device so it only costs $239.99 in Amazon.com and is available in Black, Gold and Pink color options.
