After the launch of the Xperia 5 (pre-order details), now the Japanese company has announced the Sony Xperia 8 smartphone in Japan. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.0-inch 21:9 Wide LCD display, 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and IPX5 / 8 and IP6X certified.
Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia 8 price in Japan has been set at YEN 54,000 – approximately $505 including tax, and YEN 50,000 – approximately $467 excluding tax and will go on sale in Japan from late October. The device Gray, Black, Orange, and Blue color options.

The Sony Xperia 8 features a 6.0-inch Wide LCD display with Full HD+ (2560 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and packs a 2760mAh battery with fast charging. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 158 x 69 x 8.1 mm and weighs 170 grams.
