A clear image of the Sony WF-1000XM3 has been leaked recently. According to sources, the earbuds will have a better noise cancelling, improved battery life up to 6 hours, integrated DAC chip to decode Hi-res 24bit / 192kHz music and has an estimated price of about $250.
Sony WF-1000XM3 is an upgraded version of the 2-year-old WF-1000X earphones. As one of the first companies to enter the true wireless earphones market, the WF-1000X is highly appreciated by its sound and noise cancelling, but there are some connectivity problems.
Sony’s WF-1000XM3 design is similar to the WHS-1000XM3 which may help to confirm the product’s noise cancelling will be much better than the older generation. Sony WF-1000XM3 will have two colors: Black and Gold. The product improves battery life up to 6 hours on a single charge, while also providing fast charging with 10 minutes for 90 minutes of use. It is still unclear what will be the total time of use with the charging dock. In addition, this new version is said to be able to be used independently in both ears.
When the product will be sold and officially its announcement is also unclear.
