Sony has started the distribution of VPL-FHZ120L and VPL-FHZ90L professional laser projectors. Both products are intended for use in large or medium-sized environments, such as conference rooms, university lecture halls, auditoriums, museums and attractions for large-scale visitors.
The projectors use a new generation 3 LCD BrightEra panels. The resolution is the same for both: 1920 x 1200 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The light source consists of Sony’s Z-Phosphor technology, a hybrid laser, and phosphor system.
Sony FHZ120L guarantees a very light output with 12,000 lumens while FHZ90L stops at 9,000 lumens. The duration of the light source is guaranteed for at least 20,000 hours. Focus, zoom and lens shift (the function that allows you to move the image without moving the projector) are motorized. Memorise and instantly recall up to six projector settings for image size, position and aspect ratio.
Available connections include an input with BNC connectors (compatible with RGB and component signals), an input and a VGA output, a DVI-D input with HDCP 1.4, an HDMI input, an HDBaseT compatible Ethernet port and a USB port. Both new Sony laser projectors can display HTML content via USB or Ethernet.
