Sony has released the new 4K projector called VPL-VW285ES, supports 200 inches in true 4K HDR and more than four times the resolution of full HD as well as suitable for movies or gaming in huge living room. While for cinema lovers and gamers seeking to advance into mid-level home theater projectors, Sony also announced the new VPL-VW385ES true 4K HDR projectors.
Sony VPL-VW285ES is true 4K HDR projectors model delivers a picture that’s so incredibly lifelike. To reduce the cost, it uses up to 1,500 lumens of brightness, generated by a 225-W lamp, for vibrant images even on screens up to 300″/762 cm. This universal projector supports 4K HDR resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels at 60p with 10-bit depth. It can provide up to 6,000 hours of viewing time (in low mode) from a long-lasting lamp, according to Sony.
Sony VPL-VW385ES improved the contrast of 200,000: 1 with dynamic contrast technology. The VW675ES supports an additional hybrid log gamma, which automatically detects signal sources to convert HDR content, detail, and color. It also includes Picture Position Memories, which store custom settings so that anyone can quickly watch movies in their ideal screen format. Customized lens focus, zoom and shift settings, as well as aspect ratio and blanking, can be stored for easy recall so that the viewing experience goes uninterrupted.
The VPL-VW385ES comes equipped with the Advanced Iris, cinema-viewers and include Sony’s Reality Creation feature, which provides a crisper picture quality on 4K content and enhanced upscaling from HD content that results in a truly detailed and refined viewing experience across all genres of movies, TV and gaming.
