Sony has just continued to refresh its popular Extra Bass portable best Bluetooth speakers series with three new models SRS-XB23, SRS-XB33 and SRS-XB43. With the new Extra Bass wireless speakers, Sony changed mainly in the internal structure of the driver with the passive drivers moved to both sides of the speaker (upper and lower sides for XB23).
A difference of the new generation Extra Bass wireless Bluetooth speaker for the previous generation and other portable speakers with X-Balanced driver is designed quite fancy to increase chamber pressure, increase the maximum volume level and reduce distortion.
Using an oval shape speaker like an egg and XB43 is quite square. Particularly for the top of the XB43 line, it combines a two-way speaker model with two woofer drivers and two tweeter drivers, along with the diaphragm covered with a mica layer to improve sound quality.
The Extra Bass series speaker Bluetooth has an IP67 water and dust resistance rating and are resistant to shock and falls. This helps users can comfortably take a picnic, go to the beach, and if there is dirt can wash the speaker extremely easily.
The surrounding LED design of the XB33 and XB43 speakers have also changed a bit. You can still adjust the lights on the wifi speakers wireless through the Sony Fiestable and Music Center apps so that the lights on the speakers can play to the music, adjust the colors or turn off the speakers.
The Party Connect feature was also introduced that can connect up to 100 wireless speakers, but only compatible with the new Extra Bass series and not backward. About battery life, XB33 and XB43 will have a battery life up to 24 hours on a single charge and XB23 is 12 hours in a row. With two larger models, XB33 and XB43 will have a USB port to charge the other device with NFC connectivity.
Price and availability
All three new Sony Extra Bass wireless speakers will have many different colors similar to previous generations. Three new wireless speaker models are now available to buy via Amazon.com and price starts from $99.99, $149.99, and $249.99 respectively.
