Japanese brand- Sharp mobile yesterday unveiled two new Android smartphones, the Z2 and MS1, in Singapore. With these smartphones, the company is making a re-entry into the Singapore mobile market after two years of absence. The Sharp Z2 has been priced at $399 while the Sharp MS1 has been priced at $299, Both the Sharp smartphones will be available from 29th October at online and offline stores in Singapore.
Sharp Z2 Specifications
The dual-SIM Sharp Z2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and features a 5.5-inch LTPS display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The new Smarp smartphone is powered by a MT6797 Deca-core (Dual-A72 2.3GHz + Quad-A53 2.0GHz + Quad-A53 1.4GHz processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Sporting a 16-megapixel rear autofocus camera with PDAF and LED flash, the Sharp Z2 also sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and 82-degree wide angle lens. It bears 32GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Sharp Z2 is backed by a 3000mAh battery and measures 153 x 76 x 8.4 mm. It bears an accelerometer, proximity sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope and Magnetic sensor.
Sharp MS1 Specifications
Coming to the Sharp MS1, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch LTPS display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and 3D curved Corning Gorilla glass protection on top of it. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and backed by a 2600mAh battery.
It supports dual-SIM and is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor clubbed with MediaTek MT6753 chipset and 3GB of RAM. It packs 64GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 80-degree wide angle lens.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Along with sensors like G-sensor, Proximity sensor, magnetometer, and E-compass.
