Sharp electronics, a Japanese manufacturer has announced Aquos Mini SH-M03 smartphone in Japan on Tuesday. It is the latest mid-range handset in the Aquos series. Sharp Aquos Mini SH-M03 price is around $523 USD and it will be available in White and Red color variants. It goes on sale in Japan starting from July 2016.

The Aquos Mini SH-M03 features a 4.7-inch IGZO LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, the liquid crystal display also capable of high-speed renders of 120Hz. In addition, its own LED backlight color filter called “S-PureLED”, also reproduce subtle shades.
The handset is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor that is fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (MSM8992) chipset is clubbed with Adreno 418 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the device bears a 13-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.9 aperture, Real-time HDR and LED flash. It can shoot high-speed video at 120fps. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 83 degrees wide-angle lens (24mm equivalent) for wide selfies and video calling.
The Aquos Mini SH-M03 also comes with standard IPX5/IPX8/ IP6X certification to protect the device against dust and water. The device also comes with Mobile payment and early Earthquake warning alert features.
The device runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Custom UI that comes with special features such as Magic Grip, Gloves mode, Sweep ON, Clip Now, Child Lock and much more. It packs in a 2810mAh battery is rated to deliver up to 14.5 hours of talk-time and up to 510 hours of standby time on 3G network.

For connectivity, it supports Nano SIM with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 126 x 66 x 8.9 mm and weighs 120 grams.
