Sharp has announced a new tablet called Sharp Aquos Farmiredo, priced at around $745 and available in two Black and While color variants. The company has announced that the Aquos Farmiredo will be given competition to the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch was launched recently with some new features such as split screen and force touch as well.
The highlight of the Sharp Aquos Farmiredo is it supports TV tuner to enjoy your favorite TV shows on the go and also certified by IPX5/7 to protect the tablet against water and dust. There is not any confirmation of SIM support, but it comes with a WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB v2.0 port options.
The Aquos Farmiredo features a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, Rockchip 3188 chipset along with 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based tablet comes with 8GB inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (unspecified memory).
For Camera, not any detailed confirmed yet, but according to images there is a front camera, and we cannot see any rear camera on the back panel of this Sharp tablet. It has a battery life up to 5 hours and weighs around 1.9kg.
