Sharp is expected to sell the world’s first 8K TV dubbed as LV-85001 in the Japanese market for 16,000,000 yen – approximately $133,034 on 30 October.Sharp 8K TV Price

The Sharp’s 8K TV model actually a monitor, but also support TV tuner so we could call it 8K TV. It seems that the this 8K monitor is dedicated for some special user objects – such as CAD users or professional movie makers. This Sharp 85 Inch TV has an LCD panel, a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels and using Sharp IGZO technology. This Sharp 8K TV has a brightness of 1000cd/m2, contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and wide viewing angle up to 176 degrees. Sharp has used wide color LED range, and to view the 8K content, you must connect into all four HDMI ports at the same time in order to have enough bandwidth. Each of the HDMI 2.0 port will receive the 4K video signal and divided image into 8K and displayed as a single image in the monitor.
