Schneider-Kreuznach introduces the XENON Full Frame Lens for Sony E-Mount

A new Schneider E-Mount sets including five different lenses with focal lengths of 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm respectively. All lenses have the largest aperture of T/2.1, with a genuine optical alternative to professional filmmakers and cinematographers. The Schneider Xenon Lens promises to very high optical quality for filmmakers, particularly when using the 4K supports cameras such as Sony A7r II or Sony A7S II. Like the Canon and Nikon lens versions, this lens is designed with sturdy metal with a large aperture adjustment ring. The lenses are characterized in particular by their easy handling and an organic overall impression. For digital cinematography, Schneider Xenon Full Frame Prime lenses were designed for cameras with full frame sensors (36mm x 24mm). This means that the full image circle with a diameter of 43.3mm. In addition, the interchangeable bayonet mount enables the lenses to be used on cameras with the Sony F5/F55.
