Samyang 20mm F1.8 ED AS UMC Lens, supports 10 Mounts

Samyang 20mm F1.8 ED AS UMC lens for mirrorless and full-frame DSLRs cameras, supports up to more than 10 different types of mounts. It is compatible with Canon EOS, Nikon AE, Pentax K, Sony Alpha, Canon M, Fujifilm X, Samsung NX, Sony E, FT and MFT mounts. 

This new Samyang lens retains the compact design and sturdy tradition of Samyang with smooth focus ring and creates an outstanding out-of-focus look by highlighting the main object effectively.

Based on Samyang Optics’ exceptional optical technology, Ultra Multi Coating and two aspherical lenses and three extra-low dispersion have been included among 13 glasses in 12 groups to minimise aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, delivering high resolution from the centre to the corners of the image.

Samyang 20mm F1.8 ED AS UMC lens with wide F1.8 aperture secures a fast shutter speed even under the restricted lighting conditions to offer best quality images. It will brighten up your everyday snapshots. In between ultra-wide 16mm and wide-standard 24mm, 20mm lens is a perfect fit to explore wide angles not only for shooting indoor images such as concerts and interior photos but also street snaps. The 0.2m of minimum focusing adds versatility to the lens. 

In addition to a 20mm F1.8 photo lens will be priced at EUR 499 – approximately $556 USD, Samyang also made 20mm T1.9 cine lens for EUR 549 – approximately $612 USD. Both the Samyang lenses will be available from September of this year.
