Samsung has announced that the company will launch a new wall-mountable soundbar called NW700 Soundbar Sound+ at the Consumer Electronics Show – CES 2018, to be held on January 2018 in Las Vegas. A successor of the MS650 Soundbar Sound+, the NW700 Soundbar offers powerful audio and integrates a woofer developed by the Samsung Audio Lab.
Among the features of the NW700 Soundbar Sound+ there are multi-speaker control, distortion-cancelling and wide-range tweeters. The distortion-cancelling technology is able to predict the level of distortion at the end of the speaker’s movement by performing appropriate leveling. All the technologies integrated into this Samsung Soundbar have been developed by the Samsung Audio Lab in Valencia, California.
The design is very compact and is optimized for wall mounting. The length is 53.5 mm and is 41 percent thinner than the previous model. The integrated woofer has eliminated the need for an external subwoofer.
There will be three audio modes: Standard, Surround, and Smart. The surround mode is used to expand the sound, while the Smart mode automatically adjusts the volume and surround effects.
