Samsung W2016 Flip Phone Goes Official in China

Samsung W2016 launched in China, a New Smart Flip Phones designed and configuration like the Galaxy S6 but it is a clam-shell device with dual screen one screen inside and additional one screen on the outside, a total of 2 screens and both share same size of 3.9-inches. The selling price has not been announced yet, but is sold in the only Chinese market because this is Chinese Telecom customized version.

Samsung W2015 Flip phone was launched back in early of this year. Today, another flip smartphone dubbed as Samsung W2016 that is also rumored as Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 was recently certified by TENAA.

As Galaxy S6 flip version comes with dual Super AMOLED displays with a screen size of 3.9-inches with WXGA resolution of 1280×768 pixels and T9 keypad. It is powered by the 1.5 GHz and 2.1 GHz quad-core processor alongside Exynos 7420 SoC and Mali-T720 GPU. It packs a 3GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage with no expandable storage option.

The bottom of the screen and the outer sides of the back cover are made of surface design, curved sides with metal frame body. However, a new Samsung Flip Phone looks quite thick – 15.1mm when folded. The device also supports a quick charge and wireless charging technology similar to Galaxy S6. According to the company, it takes only 30 minutes rapid charging cable charging to complete 50% under the charge.

The Samsung W2016 Flip Phone features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for live selfie and video calling. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with TouchWiz interface and a 2000mAh battery capacity out of the box.

On connectivity front, includes dual SIM with dual standby China Telecom 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 options. The Samsung W2016 only sold in China and available in two Gold and Silver color options.
