Samsung just refreshed its Notebook 9 series laptops and lifted the curtain on two 13-inch and 15-inch Notebook 9 laptops with Intel’s 7th generation Kaby Lake processors.
The Samsung Notebook 9 will feature a 7th Gen Intel Core i3, i5, i7 processors, 13.3-inch and 15-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with IPS technology, sRGB 95 percent, 500 nits brightness and 178-degree wide angle. The company also announced that both models will come with an all-new LED backlit keyboard.
The company claims that new Samsung Notebook 9 comes with a more curved light weight chassis along with slim bezels for the edge-to-edge display. Means there are weighing now 907 grams for the Samsung Notebook 9 15 Inch model (14.9mm thin), and just 816 grams for the Samsung Notebook 9 13.3 Inch version (13.9mm thin).
The company claims up to 7 hour battery life for both the models. The battery supports quick charge that allows you to fully charge in 80 minutes, while a 20 minutes of charge can provide up to 2.1 hours of battery life. The company is also offering 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 RAM and storage is PCIe NVMe SSD with a maximum capacity of 256GB; and HD (720p) webcam along with two 1.5W stereo speakers.
For connectivity, including 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a single USB Type-C port, HDMI, microSD slot, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11\ac 2×2, and dual array digital mic.
At the moment, Samsung did not disclose more detailed information on pricing and availability of both new 9 Series laptops.
