Samsung has announced two new models of its Q Series soundbars including Samsung HW-Q60R and HW-Q70R, bringing many high-end technologies to the mid-range segment. Most notable is new Adaptive Sound, which uses AI intelligence to analyze streaming content on the TV, and automatically fine-tune the sound for best listening.
With this technology, the Samsung Q Series will give a lively bass when watching action movies or when listening to music, and automatically reduce the volume when the TV is running ads. The feature will only work with the Samsung QLED TV series.
The new generation Q series soundbar will still be produced by Samsung with Harman Kardon audio equipment research lab. The more advanced Samsung HW-Q70R soundbar includes two tweeters, one subwoofer, supporting the most advanced 3D audio technology today, Dolby Atmos and DTS: X for a 360-degree home theater experience, which is only available on two hi-end soundbar models HW-N850 and HW-N950. The low-cost HW-Q60R is equipped with a subwoofer but still ensures a sound quality in its segment.
Combined with that is the exclusive Acoustic Beam technology uses an array of holes in the speaker to create a more dynamic, panoramic soundscape. These features will fill every corner of the room through a wide soundscape with full sound.
