Samsung has included the NU8500, NU8000, NU7300 and NU7100 Smart 4K UHD TV on its official US website. So let’s talk about the new Smart TV series belonging to the 2018 range. The Korean company had kept the news confidentiality about the new arrivals: no details of the mid-range nor the new QLEDs had been released at CES 2018. All panels are LCD LED Edge with Ultra HD resolution.
All new Smart 4K UHD TV models support HDR, HDR10+, and HLG. The shared equipment also includes the Tizen Smart TV, Bixby voice assistant, and the SmartThings ecosystem compatibility (for the management of smart home devices). There is also Clean Cable Solution system to keep the integrated SteamLink cables and functionalities in order. Among the new features, we mention the Auto Game Mode, a specific setting for video games that automatically adjusts all the optimal parameters, in order to guarantee the best possible experience also in terms of input lag, the delay in response to commands (caused by the processing of video signals).
Samsung NU8500 will be available in 55″ and 65″ screen sizes and will feature a curved panel, Motion Rate 240 motion compensation and OneRemote remote control. Samsung NU8000 is practically the flat version, available in 49″, 55″, 65″ and 82″ sizes. Samsung NU7300 will only be available in the curved 55″ version with Motion Rate 120. Samsung NU7100 is a 65″ variant and very similar to NU7300.
