Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) and Notebook 9 Pen Ultrabooks Announced

Samsung has announced the arrival of three new ultrabook models under its Notebook 9 series. The first generation was introduced at CES 2017, and this time the Korean manufacturer chooses to display at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. There are three laptops including: Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) 13.3″, Notebook 9 (2018) 15″ and Notebook 9 Pen 13″.

The CPU department is updated with the integration of the eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, while the body is completely in metal. It is made of magnesium alloy and aluminum: Samsung calls it Metal12 and defines it as lighter than aluminum. New Notebook 9 2018 with a 13″ display stop the scale needle under the 1kg.

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen 13″ is a 2-in-1 model with S-Pen support, features that make it the most versatile and interesting model of the lot.The pen recognizes 4096 levels of pressure and is equipped with a 0.7mm tip that allows interacting with the touch screen very accurately.

The other two models are traditional ultrabooks, both equipped with eighth-generation Intel Core (i7) processors and, here the 15″ variant comes with dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card.

Do not miss the attention to design: the frames that surround the screens – ranging from 13.3″ to 15″ with FHD resolution – measure 6.2mm. At least on paper, the battery compartment was improved compared to the 2017 models: it starts from the Notebook 9 Pen with 39Wh, to reach the 75Wh on Notebook 9 13.3″ and 15″.
