Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition with Android 6 Listed Online

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition has been listed online in Netherland, and it is said to be refreshed variant with improved performance and specifications compared to last year launched Galaxy Xcover 3 rugged smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition is listed in only Black color variant and priced at EUR 228 – approximately $258 USD. However, there is not any detail on the Samsung’s official website for this Value Edition device.
This new Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition features 4.5-inch TFT LCD display alongside WVGA 480×800 pixel resolution with 16 Million colors. The handset is powered by the 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. Clocked rate is slighty improved when compared to its predecessor (1.2GHz).

The Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition flaunts a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. It can shoot video in 720p at 30 frames per second. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for decent selfie and video calling. As Galaxy Xcover 3 is rugged smartphone, so it can survive in high temperature, humidity, rain and altitude conditions to meets US MIL-STD 810G requirements. Along with is also certified by IP67 to protect the device against dust, shock and water; and can survive up to 30 minutes underwater in depth of 1 meter.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs a 2000mAh battery that can easily last for a day with moderate usage. On the connectivity front, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options. The device also features Accelerometer, digital compass, Light sensor and proximity sensor.
