It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7 along with 1.5GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal storage which can also be expanded via microSD card (unspecified storage).

The Tab A 7.0 also features a 5-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash and there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based on TouchWiz UI and packs in a 4000mAh battery out of the box that can offer up to 11 hours of web surfing and 10 hours of video playback time.
