Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus were launched last month. It comes with a new app drawer launcher which reportedly works similarly to Pixel Launcher but works with an upward or downward swipe motion on any part of the screen. But now the Samsung Galaxy S8 launcher will also work on Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge runs Android Nougat.
A XDA Developer forum member has posted step by step method to install Samsung Galaxy S8 launcher in Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge not-rooted devices. The process is quite easy, doesn’t seem much complicated, first you have set up a shortcut to the APK file to install it immediately after a device restart. Once installed, this will give you a new look and feel of the Galaxy S8’s home screen and apps.
Further, the order of the navigation buttons on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. Notably, the XDA forum member spotted the s8 on screen buttons with automatic color changing feature on Galaxy Noye 5; though, considering that it’s compatible with the Galaxy S8 launcher, they may work with the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge too.
The app drawer on Galaxy S8 can be accessed simply by swiping up or down on the home screen unless you are pressing where any icons are present and users can also choose to add an icon for the app drawer from settings as well. The capacitive navigation buttons on the smartphone, they have the standard Samsung layout in the order of Recents, Home, and Back from left-to-right. However, as many users would like to do, you can change the layout to Back, Home, and Recents, simply by heading to ‘Settings > Display > Navigation Bar’ and choosing the order.
