Samsung’s very popular Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge still haven’t received Android Oreo update, up until now. But, the WiFi Alliance website has hinted that Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be available soon.
As we mentioned, a WiFi Alliance website in USA mentions all US carrier Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge models as well unlocked variants running Android 8.0 Oreo. This comes as a breather for both devices’ owners who had been waiting so long for an Oreo update since these products launches.
Despite the WiFi Alliance announcement, there seems to be no further detail about exact release date for the Oreo update rollout for both devices, and there is no timeline regarding its imminent arrival as well. It is, although, a big indication that we might see it rolling out in the near future.
