Recently, Samsung India quietly listed two new smartphones named Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 on its official website, and today both the new Galaxy On Series smartphones are listed on Samsung China website as well. That is unclear that the both the devices will have plastic or imitation leather material design, but its back panel is quite similar to the Galaxy Note 4 that’s going to the premium segment.
Both the Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 are mid-range devices. Galaxy On5 features a 5.0-inch, while Galaxy On7 comes with 5.5-inch TFT screen with a same HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Both the Galaxy On smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and backed by a Exynos 3475 chipset along with 1.5GB of RAM.
While talking about the imaging capabilities, the Galaxy On5 bears an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back with autofocus and LED flash, front has a 5-megapixel shooter while rear camera is also supports FHD video recording. On the other hand the Galaxy On7 comes with a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with same features as on Galaxy On5.On storage space, both the devices come with an 8GB of internal storage that’s also supports microSD card slot to expand memory up to 128GB. These are Dual SIM 4G LTE smartphones, runs Android OS (unspecified), Galaxy On5 backed by a 2600mAh battery capacity while Galaxy On7 will come with a little more power of 3000mAh battery juice.
On the connectivity front, includes 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB options.
Samsung Galaxy On5 measures 142.3×72.1×8.5mm and weighs 149 grams, while the Samsung Galaxy On7 151.8×77.5×8.2mm and weighs 172 grams. Both the Samsung Galaxy On devices listed in two White and Gold color variants, there is no any further detail about the official release date and specific prices of these two Galaxy On Series devices.
