Samsung Galaxy On Nxt with 3GB RAM, S Power, and S Power Modes Announced

Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has been officially launched in India, was teased few days ago and it is said to be a kind of mixture of Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy On7 Pro variants. So it comes with an improved performance and decent specifications. The Galaxy On Nxt features a 5.5-inch TFT LCD display with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that can count to be rated a pixel density of 401ppi along with 2.5D curved glass design and it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The handset is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by company’s own Exynos 7870 chipset, paired with ARM Mali T830 MP1 GPU. It packs a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.

The Galaxy On Nxt houses a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, and LED flash. While the front has an 8-megapixel wide angle camera with f/1.9 aperture along with various camera features such as Animated Photo, Anti-fog, Auto, Beauty Face, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Interval Shot, Night, Panorama, Pro, Selfie, Sports, Wide Selfie, and more. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor which embedded in the front home button. The device features a new S Power Planning mode that comes with three modes: Reserve battery for calls, which enables the consumer to allocate a certain percentage of the battery for calls and messages; Extend Battery time, which allows user to extend the usage time of the phone up to twice the current available time and Forward calls when no battery, wherein the user can forward the calls to a selected contact or any number when the phone runs out of battery. Another one is the S Secure on the Samsung Galaxy NXT Phablet which addresses the consumers’ concerns on security and privacy and it has three features – Lock and hide apps, which allows users to hide or lock applications; Secure Folder, where the user can stores files for increased privacy and security and Secure WiFi, which enables consumers to browse worry free especially on a public WiFi by encrypting data which is being transferred.

The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own Touch UI interface on top. It packs a 3300mAh battery under the hood. It has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options. It measures 151.7 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 167 grams.
