Samsung has unveiled Galaxy On Max smartphone in India and is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, ideal for shooting in low light conditions. The Samsung Galaxy On Max price in India is Rs. 16,900 – approximately $260 and it will be available in Black and Gold color options.
The device is also compatible with Samsung Pay Mini and integrates innovative features called Social Camera Mode and Instant Share & Edit options that allow you to share photos with a single click on pinned social media applications. There is also various live filters and Indian-theme based stickers enhance the overall experience of clicking and sharing images.
The Galaxy On Max also flaunts a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button along with the Samsung Pay Mini support. There is also UPI-based payments as well as mobile wallet, but forgoes the NFC and MST-powered offline tap-to-pay features that essentially replace debit and credit cards.
Samsung Galaxy On Max Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy On Max features a 5.7-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass protection on top of it. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK P25 SoC (with four cores clocked at 2.39GHz and four cores clocked at 1.69GHz) along with 4GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
For optics, as mentioned above the Galaxy On Max flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with a f/1.7 aperture lens, which the company claims provide great low-light performance and LED flash. There is also 13-megapixel selfie shooter in front with f/1.9 aperture and front LED flash to capture bright selfies.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and a 3300mAh battery. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 156.6 x 78.7 x 8.1mm and weighs 178 grams.
