After leaked in first live images, the Samsung Galaxy J4 has been officially launched in India. It is a budget device comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 13MP Camera and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 price in India has been set at Rs. 9990 – approximately $148 and will be available to buy via offline shops. The handset comes in Black, Gold and Blue color options.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Exynos 7570 14nm Mobile Platform with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Galaxy J4 flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. For selfie, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t feature any security benefits such as Fingerprint sensor or Face Unlock.
The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Experience U.I out of the box. It packs a 3000mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and USB 2.0. The device measures 151.7 x 77.2 x 8.1mm and weighs 145 grams.
Last week, Samsung announced two new Galaxy A series smartphones including Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+, which are also listed on Amazon in the USA. Both new smartphones come with a more premium look and good technical specifications to compete with other devices in the same price segment. Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ have a design reminiscent of a mix of the Galaxy A8 2018 along with the metal body.
