Samsung has officially announced its new low-end device in the US, the Galaxy J3 2017, which will be sold exclusively via AT&T at a price of $179.99. Coming to its technical aspects, the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 comes with the moderate specifications, let’s see below.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels that can rate to deliver a 16 million colors. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by a Samsung Exynos 7 (7570) SoC paired with 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Galaxy J3 2017 bears a 5-megapixel primary autofocus camera on the 4x digital zoom, LED flash and also able to capture HD video at 30fps. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with Gesture Control, Beauty Effect in Selfie mode and other camera features including Auto, Pro, Sports, Panorama, Sound & Shot, and Selfie.
The handset runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs a 2600mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 23 hours of talk-time and up to 17 days of standby time. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Mirco USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options. It measures 5.55 x 2.76 x 0.34 inches and weighs 5.22 ounces.
