Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini with Android Lollipop and 5MP Camera Launched

Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini has been officially launched in Philippines. It is an affordable budget smartphone from the company with supports dual SIM. Actually, it is a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy J1 was launched last year. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini price in Philippines is still a mystery and it’s exclusively available at Samsung official Philippines online e-commerce store. The handset is available in Black and Gold color options.

This new Galaxy J1 Mini features 4.0-inch TFT LCD display with WVGA – 480 x 800 pixel resolution that can convey a pixel density of 233ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) and clubbed with 750MB of RAM – quite low when compared to other entry level smartphones. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

The Galaxy J1 Mini flaunts a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with CMOS sensor and no LED flash which not acceptable at all today. There is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfie.

The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with company’s Touchwiz UI interface and packs a 1500mAh battery with power saving mode that can help to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 29 hours music playback time.
