Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Unlocked Smartphone Launched at $89.95

Soon after launching the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini smartphone in Philippines, now this new entry-level smartphone can be purchased in the USA. Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Unlocked version has been priced at only $89.95 and is now listed on third-party Amazon online store. The smartphone can be expected to go on sale soon.

New Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini 2016 model features 4.0-inch TFT LCD display with WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 233ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset. It packs in 750MB of RAM, quite low when compared to other entry level smartphones. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the handset flaunts a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with CMOS sensor and there is no LED flash which not acceptable at all today. There is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfie. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with company’s own Touchwiz UI interface. It packs in a 1500mAh battery with power saving mode that can help to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 29 hours music playback time.

On the connectivity front, Galaxy J1 Mini includes 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio options.
