After launching the Galaxy J Max and Galaxy J2 2016 smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy J Series, Samsung looks set to launch yet another smartphone, adding to its already extensive line-up. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo has been listed on the company’s South Africa based website, however the pricing and availability details remain unknown. The handset will be available in Black, Blue, and White color options.
Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo Specifications
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo runs on Android OS and supports dual-SIM connectivity. It features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and 16M color in depth. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that’s teamed by Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB of inbuilt memory, with an option to expand up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
On the camera front, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo include a 5-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and is also able to record HD 720p videos at 30fps. There’s also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling.
The device offers 1900mAh of battery with Ultra Power Saving mode that the company claims lasts up to 11 hours of talk time, 10 hours of web-browsing on LTE, and up to 10 hours of HD video playback time. It also comes with integrated proximity, and Accelerometer sensors.
Furthermore, it comes with support for 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio options. It measures 130.1 x 67.6 x 9.5 mm and weighs 131 grams.
Last week, Samsung launched the Galaxy J Max and Galaxy J2 2016 smartphone in India. They have been priced at Rs. 13,400 and Rs. 9,750 respectively. The Samsung Galaxy J Max is available via online and offline retail channels from next month while the Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 is available from July 14th, 2016.
