Along with the Galaxy Note10 series smartphones, Galaxy Tab S6 tablet and Galaxy Watch Active2 smartwatch, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Book S notebook. It is a Windows 10 laptop powered by Snapdragon 8cx compute platform with 4G LTE support, a 13.3-inch Full HD touch display, and light-weight design at just 960 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S is highly upgraded version compared to the Samsung Galaxy Book 2, it features a 13.3-inch TFT 10-point multi-touch display with FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a uniquely arched frame that flows when opened and closed, the portable, the premium anodized aluminum frame on the top and base and ultra-slim body measuring just 6.2mm at its thinnest point.
It is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core processor which supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 7nm Compute Platform with 8GB (LPDDR4X) RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and expandable memory up to 1TB. It has a 720p HD camera, AKG stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos and offers up to 23 hours of continuous video playback with a single charge.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S features Windows Hello instant sign-on with your fingerprint, Hall Sensor, Light Sensor (Keyboard Backlit on/off), and packs 42Wh battery with up to 23 hours video playback time. For connectivity includes 4G LTE Cat.18 via nano-SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0, USB Type-C, Location (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou). The device measures 305.2 x 203.2 x 6.2-11.8 mm and weighs 0.96 kg.

The Galaxy Book S price starts from $999 and will roll out in select markets beginning Fall 2019. The notebook comes in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray color options.
