Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite live images and video have surfaced online that also reveals its initial specifications. The images and video show that the unannounced Galaxy A series handsets will come with the dual rear camera sensor.
Previously, the handset with model number SM-G8850 got certified by TENAA in China. As seen from the images, the Samsung Galaxy A9 series devices will have a glass back panel, rear fingerprint sensor and dual rear camera includes a 24-megapixel main camera sensor along with a 16-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, the handset appears to have a FullView display without a physical home button.
Folks at Weibo have also revealed some of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite specifications: it is reported to have a 6.28-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star could come with Snapdragon 660 SoC while the Galaxy A9 Star Lite could back by the Snapdragon 450 chipset.
The handset packs 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB onboard expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD. The camera sensor featured on the back of the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is claimed to have a dual rear camera with a 24-megapixel primary rear camera and a 16-megapixel secondary rear camera with LED Flash. While a 24-megapixel camera sensor is reportedly available on the front.
Further, it is said that the smartphone will have 4G VoLTE, GPS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 5 LE on the connectivity and dual-SIM support. Similar to some of the recently launched Samsung handsets, including the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is expected to run Samsung Experience skin on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset is also said to include a 3700mAh battery; it measures 162.4 x 77.0 x 7.55mm and weighs 188 grams.
