An official online store of Samsung in Iran published a Samsung Galaxy A9 launch date and specifications which will go on shelves on 1st December. The company disclosed the specifications of new products, expanding the Galaxy A line smartphones, but the actual Samsung Galaxy A9 price, design and appearance are still kept secret by manufacturers.
Samsung Galaxy A9 will be built on the basis of an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC clocked at 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 and a 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processors along with Adreno 510 GPU. The source also adds that the a chipset used in this device will supports 4K video. It will available in three Gold, Black, and White color variant along with Dual SIM functionality.

The Samsung A9 will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels that can be translated a pixel density of 401ppi. It packs a 3GB of RAM, a 32GB of native storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of microSD card. On camera front, there is a 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, face detection, HDR, geo-tagging, Panorama, Touch Focus and also able to record full-HD videos at 30fps. While front has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
The unfortunate thing is that the handset will comes with non-removable battery, as of now the battery capacity is still unknown. On connectivity front, includes 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB 2.0 options. The device will run on the Android 5.1.1 operating system.
