Samsung has started the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy A5 2017 smartphone. According to the Sammobile, has received several reports from its users containing also a couple of confirmation screenshots.
Thanks to this new update, first spotted an OTA notification in Russia, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 will integrate the same innovations as the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 series. These include the introduction of Samsung Experience version 9.0 software customization, a revamped user interface, new system animations, improved multi-windows mode and more.
The update has a weight of over 1.2GB and brings the Galaxy A5 2017 to the A520FXXU4CRD5 build. The reference month for security patches is not known for the time being.
As usual, the update will soon be made available in the remaining countries. Therefore, we invite you to periodically check the software updates under the system settings manually.
