One of the most anticipated and interesting accessories presented by Samsung during the Unpacked 2017 event, is the Samsung DeX Station, the dock that not only allows you to connect the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus to your monitor, keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth or USB, but also to take advantage of a real desktop PC experience to exploit both the widescreen as well as above-mentioned input devices.
The Samsung DeX Station price in USA is about $149.99 and it can be pre-ordered via Amazon.com in USA, and will be shipped after 20th April 2017.
The Samsung DeX Station comes with multiple ports for connection including two USB Type-A 2.0, a LAN Ethernet, an HDMI output, and a USB Type-C charging port. Interestingly, the DeX station dock even comes with a built-in fan that keeps your device cool while docked in. This could prove to be an important addition while the phone allows users to complete some complex tasks in a PC-like experience.
