Resident Evil 2 after the launch will receive a free DLC that will introduce a new mode, called The Ghost Survivors. The announcement was issued by Capcom Japan during a stream dedicated to the game, but unfortunately, the information is still very few.
The Ghost Survivors should, however, be an extra mode that focuses entirely on replayability as it will be possible to choose between different characters to take part in randomly generated missions. According to what emerged, in The Ghost Survivors, there will also be an “in-game shop” where users will be able to spend the points obtained facing the unprecedented mode.
The complete list of characters present in the additional content has not been published yet, however, the presence of Robert Kendo – a member of the Umbrella Security Service (USS) and Katherine – daughter of the mayor, seems to confirm. During the streaming, they also talked about the possibility to buy (in-game) the iconic costumes worn in the original game by Leon and Claire, but it is not clear if the initiative will be reserved only for Japanese players of PlayStation 4.
We look forward to more information, remembering that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be available on January 25 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
