Razer Phone: Portrait Mode, May Patch, and Multi-touch Bug Fixes

Razer has released a new software update for Razer Phone, its own and first gaming smartphone variant was announced at the end of 2017 and available exclusively on Amazon in Black, Limited edition Green and Limited edition Gold color options.

Thanks to this new update, which already available via OTA on some compatible devices, the well-known Californian company has introduced several innovations and solved some problems encountered by users after the recent Android 8.1 Oreo update.

Most of the changes mentioned directly in the official changelog we find the implementation of the most recent security patches of May 2018, new Portrait mode for the camera, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) update and more.

Finally, in this update, it will also be possible to lock recent apps, wherein you can lock apps in memory to avoid accidentally swiping them away in the Recents panel or clearing them by using the Clear All button. The new update has a weight of over 366MB and will be available on all compatible devices over the next few hours.
