Along with the Basilisk Ultimate Hyperspeed gamer mouse, Razer has also introduced the Basilisk X HyperSpeed. This new Razer gaming mouse is cheaper but in many ways similar to the Basilisk Ultimate.
The Razer HyperSpeed is also a wireless gaming mouse which according to the manufacturer, provides a minimum delay, allowing you to instantly register mouse movements and button clicks. The 16,000 DPI optical sensor was borrowed from the Razer DeathAdder Elite.
In addition to the HyperSpeed technology, the Basilisk X HyperSpeed supports Bluetooth connectivity. By switching to Bluetooth mode, you can increase the battery life from 285 to 450 hours. According to Razer, this is the highest among wireless gaming mice.
The Basilisk X HyperSpeed gamer mouse uses mechanical switches with a claimed life of 50 million triggers. The device is equipped with six programmable buttons. Settings can be saved in the internal memory of the mouse.
